Bangladesh to hold fresh elections, reform referendum on February 12

Bangladesh is to hold elections along with a referendum on constitutional change in February. Exiled former prime minister Sheikh Hasina's party will not be permitted to participate amid human rights concerns over how her trial in which she was sentenced to death.
