Bavarian leader says deportations and economy key to beating far-right

Speaking ahead of German state elections in which the far-right AfD is riding high in the polls, conservative Bavarian leader Markus Söder called for more restrictions on migration and a boost to the sluggish economy. Lack of perspective is driving people to radicalism, he said.
