Spain publishes previously secret documents on the 1981 coup attempt

Spain is an established democracy, but this was not always the case. Six years after the long-standing dictator Francisco Franco had died in 1975, parts of the military attempted to regain power. Previously secret documents relating to this coup in 1981 have now been published.
