US Senate passes measure challenging Trump's authority on Iran war

The US Senate has narrowly passed a measure directing President Trump to end the war with Iran or seek congressional authorization. Four Republicans joined Democrats in the vote, while one Democrat voted against. Trump termed the largely symbolic vote "meaningless."
