Nigerian military will try officers over 2025 coup plot

After a failed coup attempt last year, a group of Nigerian military officers will stand trial for plotting to oust President Bola Tinbu. No date has yet been fixed. The attempted coup follow a pattern in West and Central Africa of disputed elections and constitutional upheaval.
