Hong Kong media mogul Jimmy Lai convicted in national security case

A Hong Kong court presided over by three judges has convicted Jimmy Lai, a former media tycoon, of sedition. Lai, 78, whose trial was closely watched, is already in prison and in ill-health. Sentence on the founder of a pro-democracy paper is to be passed in January.
