Munich Security Conference chief defends inviting Germany's AfD

The Munich Security Conference has in the past excluded Germany's AfD, drawing criticism from US Vice President JD Vance during the 2025 event in February. The conference has now changed tack and invited the far-right party, seen by many in Germany as anti-democratic.
