Poland's judiciary violated principles of EU law, ECJ rules

Poland's Constitutional Court refused to recognise ECJ rulings in 2021 under the conservative PiS government. The highest European court sees this as a breach of fundamental EU principles. Poland has since acknowledged the violations.
