Turkish opposition actor-turned mayor detained in corruption probe

Turkish authorities have arrested yet another opposition party mayor. Erdal Beşikçioğlu, mayor of a west Ankara municipality, is being probed for irregularities in the award of tenders. Numerous other officials were also arrested.
