Venezuela government, part of opposition to launch US-backed talks

Nobel laureate María Corina Machado has been excluded from US-backed talks in Venezuela on the country's future. Certain opposition figures will be at a meeting in Caracas, but not Machado or her ally Edmundo González Urrutia, who is widely thought to have won the 2024 poll.
