Syria rejects forced deportations from Germany amid migration debate

Foreign Minister al-Shaibani has rejected forced deportation of his countrymen from Germany as suggested by Chancellor Merz following a meeting with Syrian leader al-Sharaa. The figure of 80% of some 900,000 refugees was mentioned.
