Gaza Strip city holds first municipal elections in more than 20 years

A largely symbolic municipal election in the Deir el-Balah in the Gaza Strip was dominated by the Palestinian Authority that administers much of the West Bank. Some of the candidates were seen as close to Hamas, which has ousted the PA from the region.
