Prominent US-Kuwaiti journalist arrested in Kuwait, campaigners say

The Kuwaiti-US journalist Ahmed Shihab-Eldin has not been heard from for six weeks after travelling to Kuwait to visit family. He has been arrested and believed to be accused of spreading "fake news" in the Gulf states which severely restricts freedom of the press.
